The MKMRF is so grateful to the Mayor of Gateshead Councillor Lynn for his unfailing support and very kind donation of £5,000 bringing the total for the evening to a magnificent £9,000.Paula Walker from the Sheffield and Rotherham Asbestos Group presented Chris Knighton with a cheque for £1,250 raised from their balloon release on Action Mesothelioma Day in February. The guest of honour, the Mayor of Gateshead, Councillor David Lynn donated £5,000 from his Fund, bringing the total raised on the night to a magnificent £9,000.
