Bavington Hall
The Mesothelioma Self help/Friendship Group’s summer outing this year was amongst the beautiful Northumbrian countryside at Bavington Hall and Gardens. The group were welcomed by owners Sheila and George who had a wonderful array of refreshments for all to enjoy.
Bavington Hall and grounds belonged for many years to the Shafto family. But when the couple bought it 12years ago it was in a sad state of neglect. After years of hard work its now back to its former glory and the couple have a beautiful home to enjoy. The group were given a tour and outline of the houses history by their hosts. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to George and Sheila for their hospitality, kindness and support for the MKMRF.
