Anse Source d'Argent is known as the world's most photographed beach. It is located on the West coast of La Digue Island. During high tide, it almost disappears into the sheet of waves. For a perfect photo op, visit here in the late afternoon when the colours are sharper and intense. It is also a popular snorkelling spot.
Entry fees: Anse Source d'Argent is located within the L'Union Estate. An entry fee of SCR 100 is applicable.
Timings: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Anse Lazio is situated in the northwestern part of Praslin Island. The turquoise sea, soft white sands, boulder-strewn areas and the backdrop of lush green tropical trees combine beautifully to present a picturesque setting. Anse Lazio is popular for snorkelling and deep-sea fishing. Restaurants and shops are available at both ends of the beach. It also has a designated swimming area.

Entry into this place is free of cost even if you're not a guest at the resort, however, prior booking is recommended. The beach is perfect for romantic dates and wedding photography. 

4. Petite Anse

Petite Anse

Known as the sister beach to Grand Anse, the Petite Anse is a serene and less crowded beach of La Digue. Located near the Four Seasons Hotel, on the southeast coast of La Digue, the beach lies between Grand Anse and Anse Cocos. It receives a fraction of sunbathers because the waters aren't safe to swim due to high tide. However, it is the right spot for surfing.

5. Anse Intendance

Located at the south of Mahe, Anse Intendance is one of the isolated beaches of Seychelles. Since there are no reefs, it is an ideal spot for surfing rather than swimming. With a backdrop of mangroves and large granite formations, the beach is picture-perfect. It is also one of the few beaches in Seychelles where turtle nests are common. The best time to visit is from October to March.

Beau Vallon is the largest and most popular beach of Seychelles, located around 3 kms from Victoria, on Mahe. With white sand and crystal clear water, it is famous for snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, scuba diving and jet ski. Beau Vallon is the only beach in Seychelles where motorized water sports are permitted. It also has a wide array of beach stalls, shops, hotels and restaurants.

Situated on the easternmost fringes of La Digue Island, the C' Shaped beach of Anse Cocos is one of the most secluded beaches of Seychelles. Anse Cocos spreads over an area of approximately half a kilometre, with boulders, striking cerulean waters and golden sands adorning the coastline. The water currents here are unpredictable, and hence it is not advisable to wade far off into the waters.

Anse Marron is a unique beach in the southern part of La Digue Island in Seychelles. Situated remotely on the southwest coast of La Digue, this natural pool is surrounded by granite boulders, white sand and dense vegetation. It is far-flung from settlements which is part of its raw appeal. Known as one of the hardest accessible beaches, it requires a relatively moderate to challenging hike through the dense tropical jungle to reach.

Anse Major, located on the wild northern coast of Mahé, is a small secret bay, full of natural beauty. It is abundant in breathtaking underwater life and fascinating coral seabeds, making it a great snorkelling spot. This island is quite secluded and requires a hike through the Morne Seychellois National Park to reach.

Anse Volbert beach is the longest beach on Praslin Island of Seychelles. Also called Cote d'Or, Anse Volbert is easily the most popular beach among tourists with a stunning stretch of white sand for 2.5km. Its main beach faces Chauve Souris, the offshore islet. It is famous for its water sports.

Grand Anse is one of the longest beaches located on Mahe Island. The turquoise, clear and gorgeous ocean along with the excellent clean sand makes it a favourite destination for recreation. Situated on the northern end of Mahe following the coastal road from Lazare, Takamaka Bay is one of the most gorgeous beaches in Seychelles. With stunning views, it gets its name from the Takamaka trees that line it. The beach is great for swimming and snorkelling.

A beautiful moon-shaped bay located in the southwest of Mahé, the Baie Lazare is a popular beach in Seychelles. Located between the Kempinski Resort and the Lazare Picault Hotel Baie Lazare is named after the French explorer Lazare Picault. The waters at the beach are relatively shallow, and there is plentiful shade here. It is popular for snorkelling, swimming, and windsurfing.

15. Anse Severe

Anse Severe

One of the most famous beaches of La Digue, Anse Severe provides a spectacular view of Praslin Island. It spreads over a 2000 square meter area of soft white sands sprinkled with granite boulders. Known for its excellent view of the sunset and the turquoise waters, swimming and snorkelling can be enjoyed here.
