January 2010 Pupils and staff at Barnfield West Acadamy, held a Christmas Raffle in Nicky’s memory and raised a total of £341.04 towards her Snowdrop Fund
September 2009 Famiy and friends have continued to donate towards her Memorial Fund which now totals £3,089
January 2009 Nicky Hopper suffered with mesothelioma and set about organising a Snowdrop Ball for January 2009 to raise funds into the disease.
Sadly, Nicky died on 23rd January aged 50yrs, the ball went ahead in her memory. Friends from the Acadamy in Bedfordshire where Nicky worked raised £2,424.08 and said “they know how much this fantastic amount would mean to Nicky”.
