A wonderful legacy to a special person

Pupils and staff at Barnfield West Acadamy, held a Christmas Raffle in Nicky’s memory and raised a total of £341.04 towards her Snowdrop Fund
Nicky Hopper suffered with mesothelioma and set about organising a Snowdrop Ball for January 2009 to raise funds into the disease.

Famiy and friends have continued to donate towards her Memorial Fund which now totals £3,089

Sadly, Nicky died on 23rd January aged 50yrs, the ball went ahead in her memory. Friends from the Acadamy in Bedfordshire where Nicky worked raised £2,424.08 and said “they know how much this fantastic amount would mean to Nicky”.
