Reg was born in Wood Green, North London on 2nd April 1931. He started work in the film industry at the age of 14 for Metro-Goldwyn -Mayer Pictures in London, both in the Metro House and at the Empire Leicester square. He later moved north to Manchester where he was office manager for some years, then transferred over to Yorkshire to be on the sales side.

He then spent some years with Walt Disney as Yorkshire/Midlands branch Manager, he retired age 65 years of age having spent 50 years in the film industry.

Reg sadly died on 25th February 2010 at the age of 78, having been diagnosed 17months earlier with Mesothelioma. He leaves a wife, Dorothy, son and daughter and four grandchildren all who’s lives have been shattered by his death.
