Once again the Self-help Group from Tyneside held a Strawberry Fair at St Cuthberts Church in North Shields and raised a wonderful £850 towards the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund.

There was an array of fabulous stalls ranging from ” Everyones a winner to scrumptious home baking.

It didn’t take long before the stall holders were kept busy and strawberry scones were available for the hungry shoppers.

For months the ladies had worked tirelessly making cards, toys, scarves, book marks etc to include on the stalls.
A huge thank you to members of the Self-help Group for their unfailing support. All have lost loved ones to mesothelioma and know just how important it is to raise funds for research into this devasating disease.
