This year’s show hit even greater heights as the theme had an out of this world based on the sci-fi shows such as Star Treck and Dr Who.
The show at the premier theatre, The Customs House in South Shields aimed to raise as much money as possible to support the two worthy causes.

The evening’s host was show director, Peter Durant and the event gave the young people of South Tyneside and opportunity to strutt their stuff on n the cat-walk in the lastest fashions, all who hoped to be named as the face of 2009 and scoop a fantastic prize with Tyne Tees Models.
Top-notch performers came along and there was plenty of fun and games for all.

Students from the Hair and Beauty Department at South Tyneside College presented their own showcase creating fantasic outfits looking very much to the future.
Members of the Sarah Howe Cookson School of Dance performed an amazing routine dedicated to Tina Turner.

A team of models from the North East Mesothelioma Self-help Group took to the run way and the support from the people of South Shields was absolutley fantastic.
